Sri Lanka Air Force Museum

Air Force Museum is situated in Ratmalana, it is co-located with Colombo Airport Ratmalana which is used mainly for domestic flights. This is the only national museum dedicated entirely to aviation and the history of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
A visit to this establishment would be a unique experience for enthusiast of aviation of all ages. The museum offers an insight not only into the history of the Sri Lanka Air Force but also a comprehensive picture of aviation in general.
The museum is now open from 0900 am onwards for the general public after the modernizing except Sunday & Monday.
main hangar you can see 12 aircraft. out of that 5 aircraft (2 SF 260 TP, 2 Chipmunk, one Tiger Moth) are in air worty condition. further you can see historically valued aircraft such as Dragon fly, Pioneer, Pazmany, Dacota, Balliol,Bell 47G
